Super Lawyers uses a multiphase selection process that combines peer evaluations with rigorous independent research. Each candidate is evaluated according to different indicators, including work history, academic credentials, professional accomplishments, scholarly publications and lectures, and pro bono and community service. Only five percent of Pennsylvania attorneys are selected to Super Lawyers.

Meet Our Attorneys

Paul B. Himmel, senior shareholder, has been selected to Super Lawyers for the fourth consecutive year. He graduated from Villanova University and is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Paul manages the firm’s Workers’ Compensation department and assists employees throughout southeastern Pennsylvania who are suffering a work-related illness or injury. Paul’s experience with these types of matters is reflected in his certification by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section as a specialist in Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law.

As a skilled litigator, Paul assists Pennsylvania and New Jersey residents with medical malpractice, products liability, and personal injury claims. He has experience in bench trials, jury trials, and arbitration proceedings. His background in Workers’ Compensation also led to his appointment as Fund Counsel to the Laborers’ District Council Plasterers, Tenders & Laborers’ Health and Welfare Fund.

Paul is current member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Pennsylvania, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and the American Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Committee, Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section.

Rebecca L. Kolsky, attorney, has been selected to Rising Stars for three consecutive years. She received her J.D. from the Appalachian School of Law, then earned her LL.M from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Rebecca is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the New Jersey State and Federal Courts. She is also a current member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Salem County Bar Association, and is an arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of the Common Pleas.

Rebecca has litigated cases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with a focus in family law and criminal law. She provides highly skilled and effective representation in divorce, name change, domestic violence, division of property, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and alimony. She also handles issues regarding child support and child custody with great care and compassion. Rebecca’s criminal law experience ranges from handling minor traffic violations to serious felony offenses. In addition, Rebecca represents clients regarding juvenile and dependency cases, landlord-tenant disputes, contract cases, employment discrimination, mortgage and foreclosure cases, and debtor-creditor and civil rights actions, as well as medical malpractice and nursing home negligence.
